    Definately south street!! There are great vinatage shops and even some of the boutiques are affordable. Take septa up broad and it intersects with south!

    well..as i live in Paris, i can tell you that little shops are way better than huge supermarkets..!
    of course we go to the supermarket because we can find everything we need at the same place, but going to the boulangerie, the poissonnerie or the patisserie is something different!
    in those shops you can meet your neighbours and feel the soul of your district… every place is different and have his speciality…and the shop's windows often look delicious..!!

    When you enter in a boulangerie, or in a chocolaterie, you just ask the saler what you need, and he gives you advices and then serve you…for instance, you can ask recepies to the boucher, or ask the poissonier what's the best way to cook your fish.. ! And it permites you to actually talk to a real french people!!!

  17. Bangsar Shopping Center is about 20min by Taxi (depending on Traffic) and is not really worth going to. You can go to Bangsar Village, where you have a lot of restaurants and bars …a great spot for going out.

    Bukit Bintang is within walking distance from the Twin Towers and you will find a lot of bars and restaurants. There is also a street where you find some of the best hawker food in Kuala Lumpur (perfectly safe!!!) .. the street is called Jalan Alohr.
